Love Confusion

Hellooooooo!!!!!!!! Well I haven't been here in a while! It's been, really, much too long!
Anyways, I have decided to get right down to it and do what I have proposed I do; review songs!
Now the song that I have chosen for this particular post is "Love Confusion" by Kat DeLuna.

This song seems to not only speak to me, but a couple of my friends also! I told them to listen to it, and they completely agree that this did, or is relating to them someway somehow.

Basically this song is about how a girl is in love with this boy. (typical when it comes to songwriting, which is mostly about love, or heartache.) She knows she loves him. He has her heart. "You see I love you, then I hate you, And I hate you cause I love you, And I need you, then I don't need you, I don't know just what to do. I think I hate you. Yes I hate you. Wait, I love you, I love you, I'm really so confused, I love you, yes I do. Why. Why am I so lost in you? And I don't even know me anymore. Why. I don't know why I'm so confused. Cause I'm hating that I love you this much boy." Those were only a few lyrics of the song. Just by reading them I am getting a sense of confusion, which is so obvious and I'm hoping I won't have to explain how I got to that conclusion!
This song seems like the typical teenage girl life; boys boys boys. But it doesn't have to revolve only around that. If the girl were to concentrate on school more, then I'm positive she won't have this problem. Wow, this sounds like something my parents would say to me! Anyways, the point is that what occupies a young girls mind is either school or boys. Sure there are girls that think about both, but there is never an equal balance. There's never a 50% boy 50% school thought. One always overpowers the other. Some girls choose education over boys. Others choose the boy, which isn't the most intelligent seeing as an education is our whole future, whereas a person is not. Sure they may last forever, but if there isn't an education there to support the two, then it really isn't worth it. Now I know that I am rambling on and completely derailing this train from its tracks (Which I know may be boring you, which if it is, I'm sorry!!!)

Now my dear reader(s), the point is that the girl is in love with the boy, and is so confused because she doesn't know if she truly loves him. Is it just young, foolish love? Or is it truly forever? Well we won't know until it does happen to us personally. I know high school sweethearts that got married and that have four kids; three girls and one boy. They have a beautiful family. Now most of you may be thinking that I am talking about my own family, but I am not. I do not have any brothers or sisters. Anyways, this family -- the parents were high school sweethearts, and they have been together for 20+ years! This does happen, but not too often, which is a shame.
I believe that some people are afraid of falling in love because it's the unknown. I like to say "Never be afraid to dive into the unknown. Because if you truly do have a 'one true love' they will always be there with you." It's normal to have feelings of hatred towards the one you love, but those awful feelings of hatred soon become overpowered by the wonderful and light feelings of love.
