Love Confusion

Hellooooooo!!!!!!!! Well I haven't been here in a while! It's been, really, much too long!
Anyways, I have decided to get right down to it and do what I have proposed I do; review songs!
Now the song that I have chosen for this particular post is "Love Confusion" by Kat DeLuna.

This song seems to not only speak to me, but a couple of my friends also! I told them to listen to it, and they completely agree that this did, or is relating to them someway somehow.

Basically this song is about how a girl is in love with this boy. (typical when it comes to songwriting, which is mostly about love, or heartache.) She knows she loves him. He has her heart. "You see I love you, then I hate you, And I hate you cause I love you, And I need you, then I don't need you, I don't know just what to do. I think I hate you. Yes I hate you. Wait, I love you, I love you, I'm really so confused, I love you, yes I do. Why. Why am I so lost in you? And I don't even know me anymore. Why. I don't know why I'm so confused. Cause I'm hating that I love you this much boy." Those were only a few lyrics of the song. Just by reading them I am getting a sense of confusion, which is so obvious and I'm hoping I won't have to explain how I got to that conclusion!
This song seems like the typical teenage girl life; boys boys boys. But it doesn't have to revolve only around that. If the girl were to concentrate on school more, then I'm positive she won't have this problem. Wow, this sounds like something my parents would say to me! Anyways, the point is that what occupies a young girls mind is either school or boys. Sure there are girls that think about both, but there is never an equal balance. There's never a 50% boy 50% school thought. One always overpowers the other. Some girls choose education over boys. Others choose the boy, which isn't the most intelligent seeing as an education is our whole future, whereas a person is not. Sure they may last forever, but if there isn't an education there to support the two, then it really isn't worth it. Now I know that I am rambling on and completely derailing this train from its tracks (Which I know may be boring you, which if it is, I'm sorry!!!)

Now my dear reader(s), the point is that the girl is in love with the boy, and is so confused because she doesn't know if she truly loves him. Is it just young, foolish love? Or is it truly forever? Well we won't know until it does happen to us personally. I know high school sweethearts that got married and that have four kids; three girls and one boy. They have a beautiful family. Now most of you may be thinking that I am talking about my own family, but I am not. I do not have any brothers or sisters. Anyways, this family -- the parents were high school sweethearts, and they have been together for 20+ years! This does happen, but not too often, which is a shame.
I believe that some people are afraid of falling in love because it's the unknown. I like to say "Never be afraid to dive into the unknown. Because if you truly do have a 'one true love' they will always be there with you." It's normal to have feelings of hatred towards the one you love, but those awful feelings of hatred soon become overpowered by the wonderful and light feelings of love.

This song is so powerful because it really is about a broken heart. The boy is wondering if the girl still has something for him. "And I'm gonna bring somebody I barely even know, And when you turn my way, I'm gonna pull her in close, And the crazy thing about it is I ain't into her at all, I just wanna see if you still care, I know you're gonna be there" He's basically going to play with another persons feelings to see if the girl he actually loves still loves him. Now I wouldn't recommend toying with someone's feelings, but the boy does need to know if she still loves him. Who knows, maybe if he would have asked her, then she could have easily lied and said "I don't love you." I'm just going to be blunt and say that this song is about a breakup. The girl tore out the boys heart. I say this because if he would have broken up with her, then he wouldn't have a need to bring a girl he doesn't even know to the event and see the reaction from the one he loves. This song is so meaningful because it shows how devastating a break up can be. The last lines are so meaningful. "I'm gonna put on my new shirt, Shine up these old boots, Truth is when I see yah, I don't know what I'll do" He doesn't know how he'll react when he sees his love who broke his heart. How do you think he'll react? I think he'll look to the girl he's holding close and say, I'm sorry, then he'll make his way to his love. Or he might just ignore the girl he's with and go straight for the one he still loves.

This song is another song that means so much to me. The meaning is so beautiful. Love. Love is a beautiful thing and should not be abused. Though there are some cases where it has no choice but to be abused because of a forcing, either physically or mentally. I'm gonna ask you, readers/followers something. Should cheaters who did not have a choice, be given a second chance? Here's my answer:
Though they are not worthy of the other person's love, they should still get a chance. To have to admit that they cheated to the one they love seems like such a loving and heartbreaking move. I say this because to admit something so big is hard. Sure it is not a good thing whatsoever, but the couple should still be together and help eachother. Both hearts have been crushed. They way for their hearts to be all better (at least the person who got cheated on) is for the cheater to do everything in their power to prove to their partner that they truly do love them and that they really had no choice and did not want to hurt them. They will have to pick up their partner's amazing, loyal heart and put the pieces back one by one and it does not matter how long it will take for that amazing, but broken heart to heal. The truth is, that the cheater has to do everything in their power to heal the wounded. Cheating is not right, but to admit it.. That is the right thing to do. And another thing dear followers, Listen to your partner when they're worried because they have a reason to be. Think before you act. Listen to them and put yourself in your partner's shoes. Sometimes, it is too late but there really is not a "too late" in a true, loving relationship, and I believe that their relationship is the true, loving relationship. It is something unique, and infinite. Something that is meant to last. Forever and always.
♥ Once again: I am sorry, I love you. = three very different yet very powerful words ♥ 

A relationship is meant to be infinite. Relationships go through hell, but it's the real and true and infinite ones that get through hell and continue to be together. "You're not alone, and never will be because we are one, and our hearts are meant to be. Though they are shattered now, they will heal if WE both work together. We are meant to be. There isn't anything wrong with you. You are perfect in every way in my eyes. I love you. I am so sorry." This should be said to the one that has been cheated on. Everyone deserves a second chance. Even the miserable cheater who may seem heartless but who's heart was in fact breaking during the disgusting event because of forcing. But that is still no excuse. The act has been committed but there is a way for them to get through it. That way is for them to stick together and to be there for one another. The cheater to say "sorry" for the rest of their life to their love. I know I'm rambling on, but this is serious stuff! And also this is what I believe the song is about.

This song I believe is about cheating. "I keep my promises, I'm fighting for you" I think is the line that shows this because if there was no cheating, then why fight if you already possess their heart? "I keep my promises, I did not mean to cheat boo I was forced, I had no choice. I'm fighting for you. I'm fighting for us." I think would have been a better line, because it shows how much the person does love them and would go to the end of the galaxies and back and a billion times after that for the one they love. "You need love tough enough to count on, so here I am" is just an amazing line. I think that this whole song is absolutely true and amazing and everything that relationships should be about. Now because these last songs are about love. Let's talk about the three most powerful (and over-used by some) words. I love you. 

"I love you" for me is as good as promising someone you'd take care of their heart and that you trust they'd take care of yours too. Sometimes though, it is not always shown because of a terrible and disgusting mistake. Sometimes though, that mistake isn't a mistake but something that could not be stopped. Such as being forced to do something either physically or mentally. 

Love is a human emotion that cannot be stopped. People can say "stop loving her/him" but that isn't possible. There isn't an on/off button, human emotions don't come with that button. I find that as a positive. Why would someone want to stop loving their other half over a dumb and unforgettable event? Love is more than letting them go if something bad happens. When you choose to say "I love you" know that it is not thrown in the wind and that the other person feels absolutely amazing and care-free whenever those three amazing words are said to them. They get butterflies in their stomach, their heart races, their brain is all jumbled up with sweet thoughts of the one their in love with.

I love you should be used carefully and wisely. Sometimes "I'm sorry" can be almost as powerful if you say it and mean it.

There is a deeper meaning behind the song than a simple call for unity. I believe that it is about only having one love in your life and how you shouldn't let him/her go whenever you come across "the one". Sometimes it is hard to know, but other times it is quite simple. "One love, One heart, Let's get together and feel all right" This line means a lot to me personally because it's about the two people having one love, and how their hearts, if combined create one heart. A really strong heart that can make it through anything. 

"One Love" is a song that is meant to be happy, and that was written to bring people together. Yes, the meaning is deeper than a simple call for unity, but it is part of the meaning. Unity is a wonderful thing that is found all over the world, but that is more likely found between two lost souls that have finally found eachother. 

"There ain't no hiding place from the Father of Creation" is such a powerful line. God never sleeps and he knows everything everyone does regardless if they think He doesn't know. No sin can be hidden. Lying. Stealing. Cheating. There are so many sins out there and what Bob Marley wanted to tell his listeners is that they cannot hide from their sins. 
Stealing, in my opinion is the biggest sin of all. Let's say if in a relationship the girl cheats, she steals the boys trust. Trust, as we all know, is gained very hard, but can be lost in the blink of an eye. For her to gain his trust back, she will have to prove to him that she is trustworthyeven more than she did at the beginning. There are so many cases when this has happened, but I believe  that whoever said "Once a cheater, always a cheater" is wrong because people can change, they just have to be reassured that it will be O.K. as long as they do not commit the same act. As long as there is one love, and one heart to keep them going through life. Now the person that got cheated on, well their heart is shattered, but nevertheless it can be picked back up again, and can be healed as long as there is one love and one heart to keep them going. ♥

Now the meaning in this version of the song still revolves around her and her lover, but it is deeper and not so sensual. Now below I posted the Romanian and the English translation for all of you who don't know Romanian :)

Now in the Romanian version, Inna is singing about the boy she loves. "I wanna fly to the stars without stopping, in my way through life to find you" Inna is so in love with this boy and wants to show him. The lyrics in Romanian, (in my opinion) are so sentimental and have much more meaning than the English. No, I'm not hating on the English language or being biased. There are so many lines in the song where she shows her love for him. "I'm not saying words in vain when I say 'I love you'" → This line for me is super meaningful and beautiful. It's pretty much the most powerful line in the whole song, in my own opinion.
She loves him so much and just wants to show it and be with him. Just her and him. Together forever. :)
