This song is so powerful because it really is about a broken heart. The boy is wondering if the girl still has something for him. "And I'm gonna bring somebody I barely even know, And when you turn my way, I'm gonna pull her in close, And the crazy thing about it is I ain't into her at all, I just wanna see if you still care, I know you're gonna be there" He's basically going to play with another persons feelings to see if the girl he actually loves still loves him. Now I wouldn't recommend toying with someone's feelings, but the boy does need to know if she still loves him. Who knows, maybe if he would have asked her, then she could have easily lied and said "I don't love you." I'm just going to be blunt and say that this song is about a breakup. The girl tore out the boys heart. I say this because if he would have broken up with her, then he wouldn't have a need to bring a girl he doesn't even know to the event and see the reaction from the one he loves. This song is so meaningful because it shows how devastating a break up can be. The last lines are so meaningful. "I'm gonna put on my new shirt, Shine up these old boots, Truth is when I see yah, I don't know what I'll do" He doesn't know how he'll react when he sees his love who broke his heart. How do you think he'll react? I think he'll look to the girl he's holding close and say, I'm sorry, then he'll make his way to his love. Or he might just ignore the girl he's with and go straight for the one he still loves.

This song is another song that means so much to me. The meaning is so beautiful. Love. Love is a beautiful thing and should not be abused. Though there are some cases where it has no choice but to be abused because of a forcing, either physically or mentally. I'm gonna ask you, readers/followers something. Should cheaters who did not have a choice, be given a second chance? Here's my answer:
Though they are not worthy of the other person's love, they should still get a chance. To have to admit that they cheated to the one they love seems like such a loving and heartbreaking move. I say this because to admit something so big is hard. Sure it is not a good thing whatsoever, but the couple should still be together and help eachother. Both hearts have been crushed. They way for their hearts to be all better (at least the person who got cheated on) is for the cheater to do everything in their power to prove to their partner that they truly do love them and that they really had no choice and did not want to hurt them. They will have to pick up their partner's amazing, loyal heart and put the pieces back one by one and it does not matter how long it will take for that amazing, but broken heart to heal. The truth is, that the cheater has to do everything in their power to heal the wounded. Cheating is not right, but to admit it.. That is the right thing to do. And another thing dear followers, Listen to your partner when they're worried because they have a reason to be. Think before you act. Listen to them and put yourself in your partner's shoes. Sometimes, it is too late but there really is not a "too late" in a true, loving relationship, and I believe that their relationship is the true, loving relationship. It is something unique, and infinite. Something that is meant to last. Forever and always.

A relationship is meant to be infinite. Relationships go through hell, but it's the real and true and infinite ones that get through hell and continue to be together. "You're not alone, and never will be because we are one, and our hearts are meant to be. Though they are shattered now, they will heal if WE both work together. We are meant to be. There isn't anything wrong with you. You are perfect in every way in my eyes. I love you. I am so sorry." This should be said to the one that has been cheated on. Everyone deserves a second chance. Even the miserable cheater who may seem heartless but who's heart was in fact breaking during the disgusting event because of forcing. But that is still no excuse. The act has been committed but there is a way for them to get through it. That way is for them to stick together and to be there for one another. The cheater to say "sorry" for the rest of their life to their love. I know I'm rambling on, but this is serious stuff! And also this is what I believe the song is about.

Now because these last songs are about love. Let's talk about the three most powerful (and over-used by some) words. I love you.
"I love you" for me is as good as promising someone you'd take care of their heart and that you trust they'd take care of yours too. Sometimes though, it is not always shown because of a terrible and disgusting mistake. Sometimes though, that mistake isn't a mistake but something that could not be stopped. Such as being forced to do something either physically or mentally.
Love is a human emotion that cannot be stopped. People can say "stop loving her/him" but that isn't possible. There isn't an on/off button, human emotions don't come with that button. I find that as a positive. Why would someone want to stop loving their other half over a dumb and unforgettable event? Love is more than letting them go if something bad happens. When you choose to say "I love you" know that it is not thrown in the wind and that the other person feels absolutely amazing and care-free whenever those three amazing words are said to them. They get butterflies in their stomach, their heart races, their brain is all jumbled up with sweet thoughts of the one their in love with.
I love you should be used carefully and wisely. Sometimes "I'm sorry" can be almost as powerful if you say it and mean it.

I believe that it is about only having one love in your life and how you shouldn't let him/her go whenever you come across "the one". Sometimes it is hard to know, but other times it is quite simple. "One love, One heart, Let's get together and feel all right" This line means a lot to me personally because it's about the two people having one love, and how their hearts, if combined create one heart. A really strong heart that can make it through anything.
"One Love" is a song that is meant to be happy, and that was written to bring people together. Yes, the meaning is deeper than a simple call for unity, but it is part of the meaning. Unity is a wonderful thing that is found all over the world, but that is more likely found between two lost souls that have finally found eachother.
"There ain't no hiding place from the Father of Creation" is such a powerful line. God never sleeps and he knows everything everyone does regardless if they think He doesn't know. No sin can be hidden. Lying. Stealing. Cheating. There are so many sins out there and what Bob Marley wanted to tell his listeners is that they cannot hide from their sins.
Stealing, in my opinion is the biggest sin of all. Let's say if in a relationship the girl cheats, she steals the boys trust. Trust, as we all know, is gained very hard, but can be lost in the blink of an eye. For her to gain his trust back, she will have to prove to him that she is trustworthyeven more than she did at the beginning. There are so many cases when this has happened, but I believe that whoever said "Once a cheater, always a cheater" is wrong because people can change, they just have to be reassured that it will be O.K. as long as they do not commit the same act. Now the meaning in this version of the song still revolves around her and her lover, but it is deeper and not so sensual. Now below I posted the Romanian and the English translation for all of you who don't know Romanian :)

Now in the Romanian version, Inna is singing about the boy she loves. "I wanna fly to the stars without stopping, in my way through life to find you" Inna is so in love with this boy and wants to show him. The lyrics in Romanian, (in my opinion) are so sentimental and have much more meaning than the English. No, I'm not hating on the English language or being biased. There are so many lines in the song where she shows her love for him. "I'm not saying words in vain when I say 'I love you'" → This line for me is super meaningful and beautiful. It's pretty much the most powerful line in the whole song, in my own opinion.

Now this is an interesting review because the English version as opposed to the Romanian has such a different meaning! The English message is more fun, sensual, and sexy, whereas the Romanian message is more sweet, loving and romantic.
I will compare both versions. First I will compare the English first then the Romanian version, which is ironic seeing as the Romanian version came out first, nevertheless here is my review. Enjoy!
In the English version, the girl is talking about the guy and how there is something special between them but it is not expressed fully to show us, the listeners, that she is fully in love. Sure she shows signs of loving him, but not to her full potential. It is mostly sensual and not very romantic. On the other hand, I'm not saying that the meaning is useless. "Just let the disco light come and take us away" I really like this line because it does show signs that she feels something for the guy. "Take US away" She clearly wants something special in between her and the guy. She wants "US" not "ME" but "us". She wants to feel a connection with the guy by the disco lights taking them away into their own world where it feels like it is just them and no one else. Then she says the line "You and I" repeatedly which shows that she does wants to be with him. "You and I" are perfect is the message I'm getting. "You and I" are something special and we should hold onto it for as long as we can. No matter what will happen "You and I" will always be together. I know it is quite deep for such a fun song, but the message is in there. Maybe each time "You and I" is repeated, she means something different such as "You and I" belong, "You and I" are meant for eachother "You and I" are eachothers "You and I" are perfect. In the song Inna says this multiple times, but the very last four lines she repeats the words "You and I" and it is repeated for a reason. It is repeated to show her love for him. Sure it seems silly, but seeing as the English version did come from the Romanian version, I am somewhat interpreting the Romanian along with the English. I'm kind of incorporating the Romanian version with the English. The guy and the girl have a wonderful, fun, joyful connection that will soon erupt into something lovely and they should cherish it. Sting sings the part of the young man who has fallen in love with this prostitute. The young man is pleading with all his heart for her to give this lifestyle up. He says the hooker lifestyle is wrong, and that she doesn't need to demean herself anymore. He wants to take her away from all this, and wants her all to himself. Hence, "I won't share you with another boy" He loves her so much regardless of what she is, and hopefully what she "was" if he takes her in and lets him into her heart. He loves her so much and is trying to get the message out to her.
This song has parallels for anyone who has been in love with someone who might not be a literal whore, but is letting themselves be used and abused by life or people around them.
Even though it may seem as though you are not loved, there is always someone in this world that seems so big, but which is in fact very small compared to all the galaxies and the skies, that is thinking of you. Somewhere someone is thinking of you. The star or stars, that you stare at sometimes at night, someone else in this small world is looking at the same one(s).

Dead man walking - Smiley
It seems as though I haven't reviewed a song in years!!! Anyways, here it is! :)
Here is the first song that I reviewed where the singer/artist is Romanian!!! (:

This is a song I really enjoy. I first heard it when I went to Bucharest, Romania in the summer. This is a very interesting song! The beat is amazing and very catchy, and yet if you pay attention to the lyrics, it is sad. The radios played this song (and many other hit songs) non stop!
The lyrics are sad, but the beat makes up for the sadness. Maybe Smiley wanted to put the happy beat with the sad lyrics to show the girl he's singing about that he is moving on, and that even though his heart is broken, he can still move on. "I said no you said yes" "I said black you said white" It seems to me that the girl was always contradicting the boy and this led to them arguing until one point, she just decided to leave. (I realize I did underline pretty much all of the lyrics, but it is because all are important. The ones that repeat, I left blank because it is understandable the first time).

Eyes are the windows to the soul. When I look in your eyes I see greatness, I see love, I see everything that's good. You make me happy. You make me realize that love really is the key to success. Love makes me happy, which makes me successful. Love gives me the will to do what I'm supposed to.
Sometimes I'm so sad that I think it's O.K. to just leave. But where can I go? Nowhere. So I stay. When I look in your eyes I see greatness, I see love, I see everything that's good. You make me happy. You make me realize that love really is the key to success. Love makes me happy, which makes me successful. You make me stay.

"It will rain" is an amazing song. The message behind it is just so meaningful. The guy is going to be so torn if the girl leaves him. He doesn't want the girl to leave because he'll be so depressed that everyday will be grey, and blue, and just plain miserable. The girl completes him and if she leaves, then a part of him will be gone. Everyday he will shed tears if she leaves him.
This song has such a deep meaning and he can't live without her. They complete eachother. He can't live without her.

Well this song is just so cute! The guy is wishing that his ex girl can ne with him again. He misses her so much and regrets ever letting her go. This song shows how important love is in someone's life. He regrets losing her and will never find another girl like her.

Wow, this song by Craig Smart is just absolutely amazing. From the rythm, to the lyrics. Everything about it is amazing and in my opinion the ideal song.
1) It has a beautiful message
2) It's catchy
3) Listeners can relate to this song

The lyrics are so meaningful and the love that this boy has for this girl is just incredible. She's everything to him, and he must be everything to her. The way he portrays her, "you're a vision of a what perfect is to me, And you do it all, with a smile upon your face."
'A smile upon your face.' I'm assuming that the boy makes the girl really happy and makes her smile every time she's with him, or is thinking about him. And also, if he's always seeing her smiling, then he makes her happy and makes her feel special. The love they share is so strong and is something that will live on forever, and until the end of time. Their love is eternal and will never die. I realize it's quite a deep message, but all the evidence is there. Read the lyrics, and see if you don't get the same message. Sometimes reading the lyrics like a book is easier to get the message than listening to it because it's easy to get caught up in the catchy rhythm the beat, and many other things.
The underlined parts in the lyrics are what spoke to me most, and helped me get the message out.
